  • The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Govindghat, the starting point of the trek to Hemkund Sahib.

2. By Train:

  • The nearest railway station is Rishikesh. From Rishikesh, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Govindghat.

3. By Road:

  • Govindghat is well-connected by road. You can drive or take a bus from major cities like Delhi, Dehradun, or Rishikesh to reach Govindghat.

4. Trek to Hemkund Sahib:

  • From Govindghat, you need to undertake a trek of approximately 13 kilometers to reach Hemkund Sahib. The trek is moderately challenging and takes around 6-8 hours.

5. Accommodation:

  • There are accommodations available at Ghangaria, which is a midway point between Govindghat and Hemkund Sahib. You can stay overnight at Ghangaria before proceeding to Hemkund Sahib the next day.
